I traveled from Kapaa to Lihue and back to Kapaa searching for a rear brake cable for my Grandson's bike. No luck. Then, I stumbled upon Hele On Bike Rentals. Genuine Aloha from the folks at this shop in Kapaa. They sold me the cable and offered excellent advice to fix it. They deserve a 5 Star rating for customer service and satisfaction. Mahalo Hele On!!

Kealia Beach, in particular, is great for surfing and bodyboarding. Wildlife Watching: The coastal area is a haven for wildlife. Keep an eye out for Hawaiian monk seals, green sea turtles, and a variety of seabirds. The trail also passes through areas with indigenous plants and trees, offering a glimpse into Hawaii's rich biodiversity. Historical Sites: Along the way, you'll find interpretive signs providing information about the area's history and culture. The trail itself is built on an old railroad path, once used for transporting sugar cane, adding a historical charm to your journey. Local Eateries and Shops: The trail runs through Kapaa Town, known for its quaint local shops, art galleries, and eateries. Stop for a refreshing smoothie, indulge in Hawaiian shaved ice, or enjoy a meal at a beachfront restaurant. How much time does it take to do the ride? The duration of your ride largely depends on your planned activities. If you're focusing solely on riding, the scenic 9-mile northern portion of the trail typically takes about 1.5 hours to complete. However, if you plan to make stops along the way, perhaps to swim at the various beaches, or if you wish to tackle the 9-mile southern portion of the trail as well, we recommend opting for the 4-hour ride. This longer duration allows you ample time to fully enjoy all the sights and experiences the trail has to offer without feeling rushed.
-
Reservations? Or not?You have the flexibility to make reservations up to 1.5 hours before your desired departure time. If you're looking to ride without a reservation, walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis until 3:00 PM. However, we strongly recommend making a reservation if you already have a specific date and time in mind for your ride. This ensures your spot and helps in planning your experience smoothly. You can easily make reservations using our online booking here. Please note that all confirmed reservations require a credit card. This helps us secure your booking and provides a seamless rental experience.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring our bikes are well-maintained for everyone's enjoyment.
-
